Fundraising
2018 - The Pageant made just over £2000 this year. At a meeting of the volunteers we decided that we will retain £500+ for next years event, give £1000 to Broughton Sports Club, £300 towards an electric wheelchair for a 10 year old boy in Wallop, and £200 towards the new Broughton Community Shop. Thank you everyone for your wonderful support 😊
The 2017 Pageant is raising funds for our village Sports Club.
Broughton Football Club
Established in 1901 Broughton Football Club has and continues to play an active role in the community.
We have 2 adult teams, one playing in the Andover Saturday League, the other in the Andover Sunday Division 3.
The youth set up runs several teams across a number of ages. We are a village organisation that provides football for the boys and girls of age 7 through to 18 years from Broughton and the surrounding area.
We currently have 8 teams across the age groups and we play at the Broughton Sports Field on Saturday mornings from September through to the end of April. The teams play in the Testway league.
All the teams train one evening throughout the season and all the coaches are DBS checked. We provide an opportunity for all to participate and our primary objectives are to ensure they enjoy taking part with their friends in the teams and learn how to play football. We are always on the lookout for extra players in all teams and welcome everybody to come up and support.

Broughton Cricket Club was first established on the 7th December 1865 and has formed a central part of our village life ever since. The club contains a mixture of age and ability – from raw novices to gnarled veterans and from fairly skillful players to enthusiastic duffers. What we all share is a love of the game and a determination to enjoy ourselves.
The 1st XI play in the Hampshire League, Regional Division 2 North West, with league games every Saturday and monthly midweek friendlies throughout the season. The clubs U11's and U9's play in the Winchester Warriors Junior Cricket leagues.
The club is always on the lookout for new talent, of whatever shape, age or size. If you are keen and want to play, get in touch. We’d also very much like to hear from anybody who might be interested in umpiring, scoring or helping with the ground.
In case anyone has concerns that we take it all too seriously, it should be said that the Club is also extremely sociable. We arrange a number of events throughout the year, both for fundraising purposes and also just for fun. There is a strong emphasis on family involvement and it is hoped there will be a number of events this year which will appeal to the younger generation.
If you would like to be included, or if you have any other enquiries, please contact the club captain
